About Moïse Dion
Moïse Dion is a professional engineer and long‑time Peace Region resident. He is a parent and community volunteer. His focus is simple: results that students, families, and staff can feel in classrooms. He brings engineering discipline to budgets and problem solving. He listens first. He speaks plainly. He delivers.
Calling PRSD a Remote Rural School Division isn’t a slogan. It is an operational truth. Remote rural means:
Distance: long bus routes, weather‑exposed roads, limited access to services.
Staffing: harder recruiting, higher turnover risk, greater value in housing/allowances.
Connectivity: spotty broadband; snow days and appointments disrupt learning more.
Equity: kids should get the same chances as anywhere - our policies must account for geography.
My plan is built on this reality, with clear metrics (below) so families can see progress.
